Smart SEO Now Offering Top of the Line SEO Services to Businesses in New Zealand

Smart SEO has always had expansion plans on their mind and were perhaps secretly working on expanding across the border. However, the announcement that the company had started operations in New Zealand came as a bit of a surprise to many in the industry despite there being rumors. That said the company has always maintained that they are not afraid to expand into other markets and their step into New Zealand is testament to the fact that they are confident enough to take new markets by storm. The new expansion announcement was formally made last week at the company’s press conference and operations have already started as of this writing.

New Zealand according to many industry experts has one of the fast growing small business sectors in the world. So, Smart SEO’s decision to expand their SEO services across the border is a sensible move and is aimed mostly at both established businesses and startups who want to start ranking well in a hurry. Smart SEO though has a unique advantage over its already established competitors in New Zealand owing to their years of optimization experience in Australia as well the fact that they have previously optimized sites for New Zealand based big businesses too. However, the company has taken on some local talent too in order to assist with providing a service that is head over heels of its competitors.

Smart SEO is one of the most established businesses in Australia with the company servicing dozens of clients every month. Even though the company has not been around since the dawn of the internet the fact remains that their success with optimizing websites have earned them a big name in the Australian small and medium business industry. Many of the businesses that hire Smart SEO in Australia do so because of the great service they provide and something which they hear of from friends and colleagues who have used the service. So, a lot of Smart SEO’s business comes from referrals. The company expects its excellent reputation to follow it into New Zealand which as it seems certainly is working that way.

“What makes our SEO services different from all the others offered in New Zealand is that we have a lot more experience with SEO and understand a lot more about it,” says Manu, who is one of the leading SEO campaign managers for Smart SEO. “We bring a lot of experience with us and because of that businesses in New Zealand can be assured of the fact that we will help them rank well. They stand a better chance of ranking well by hiring us than any of our competitors.” However, their time in New Zealand will tell how well the business is received.

Right now New Zealand based businesses who are interested in hiring the services of Smart SEO NZ can visit: http://www.smartseo.co.nz. The website has lots of information about their SEO services in addition to package details and how any business can hire them right away. People are also invited to call the number on the website if they need to speak to someone.

2014 Digital Internet Marketing Tactics For Your Business Website

2014 Digital Internet Marketing Tactics For Your Business Website

Search engine optimization and social media management both plan for multiple areas that can be activated to help grow your business higher.
  • Paid Search

    • Long the darling of e commerce, any site that has a conversion can use paid search (PPC) to its advantage. Understanding how to write good, compelling ad copy is important, and managing each ecosystem to affect click and conversion rates takes time and dedication, but is often worth it.

  • Display Advertising

    • Banner ads! People love to hate them, but if you’re after brand awareness, it’s tough to beat a display ad takeover on a popular website to plant your message and brand in front of the masses. Typically seen as a low performer in terms of click through rates (CTRs), this is highly dependent on things like your imagery, call to action and placements, not to mention sizing. Like a holiday dinner or pickup trucks, bigger is better.

  • Paid Social

    • Social is not really where you go to “sell” per se, and paying for social exposure doesn’t change that. Still great for getting your message to the top of the heap and making it stick around for a while; paid social is gaining its fair share of proponents. Rates are often low, CTRs can be solid – what’s not to like?

  • Email Marketing

    • You’ve all heard the proclamations: “Email is dead; Long live email!”. Truth is, email is still one of the highest performing conversion mediums on the go today. You have a loyal customer, who already trusts you and includes you in their life. Maybe rewarding them for that inclusion and offering a small discount to email subscribers is just the ticket to snag some additional sales this weekend?

  • Public Relations

    • Repeat after me: “I will not put out a press release unless I have something newsworthy to say.” And just because you WANT to say it, that doesn’t mean it’s worth saying in a press release. Abused so much as a way to gain links and overused as an optimization tool, the press release still has a job to do: alert press to something newsworthy. Press today are so flooded by useless press releases, they usually ignore most of them anyway. Not saying it has to be Earth shattering news (though if you are about to shatter our planet, a little notice would be nice). But telling the world’s press you’re now open an extra hour on Saturdays is hardly going to light the sky ablaze.

  • Conversion Optimization

    • Still under-utilized. This process examines your sales funnel and refines it to gain more revenue by introducing conversion producing actions and eliminating conversion robbing ones. Definitely worth sourcing an expert for this stuff. CO has been a boon of many a business, turning average conversion performance on its head with explosive growth. For my money, this topic and the one that follows, are a cinch for budget if I’m spending money to market a site.

  • Usability

    • An old standby that so many skip in favor of putting budget into the new and flashy. Why anyone would skip getting direct feedback form their customers on ways to improve things is still baffling. This should be a natural first stop in any search optimization plan.

  • Organic Social

    • Google fashioned social media. Still a fave for creating dialogue, engaging with customers and calling out people and businesses when they do wrong. Whether you’re here or not, there’s a conversation happening about you at some point. Far better to be engaged and seen to care, than to miss the conversation and seem aloof. Some of the greatest customers start as social antagonists, but once engaged, they change their minds and become a fan. And who doesn’t want more people cheering for their business?

  • Search Engine Optimization

    • One of the grand daddy’s of on-line marketing tactics, this one still has a lot of value. Today’s optimization should center around covering the known best practices, building a better user experience and developing standout content that impresses visitors. Many of yesterday’s shortcuts are Spam signals today, so make sure, as you learn, that your sources are current. That’s free e book on eBay, probably not the most reliable source of up-to-date SEO information. Long standing consultants, trusted news sites and blogs that have been sharing info for years, a much safer bet. SEO is still a fundamental; a baseline marketing tactic every website should engage in. Just don’t get too mired down in the details.

Grow your Google Adsense Earnings with Google Analytics

Grow your Google AdSense Earnings with Google Analytics

One key piece of growing your site is understanding your users and their interaction on your pages. Google Analytics is a powerful tool that can help you uncover these insights by giving you a complete picture of your audience and their needs. To help you build a loyal and engaged audience, we’re rolling out a blog series focused on helping AdSense publishers like you pull key insights out of your Analytics reports.

This week, we’ll focus on getting started with Analytics. Next we’ll share tips on how to learn more about your mobile users. Then we’ll move on to more advanced topics like engagement and loyalty analysis to help you improve your content strategy. Check out the following steps to get started.

1. Link your AdSense and Analytics accounts for richer insights

The first step is to link your AdSense account to a new or existing Analytics account. From here, you’re on your way to accessing new information that can help you identify opportunities to monetize your content more effectively. Keep in mind that you can only link one AdSense account to one Analytics account, and that the AdSense login must be an ‘Administrator’ on the Analytics account.

2. Set your site goals and conduct experiments to improve them

Think about what you want users to do on your site. Once you know these intended actions, you can map them to goals and conversion actions in Analytics to track how your site is performing. A goal is either a visit to a specific page of your site, or a specific action completed on your site. Once you've devised your goals, you can use Experiments to test how well different versions of your pages work in getting your visitors to accomplish these goals. For example, growing your AdSense revenue can be set up as a Content Experiment Goal.

3. Create custom dashboards / reports for quick access to insights

Custom dashboards - reports for quick access to insights
Custom dashboards - reports for quick access to insights
The next thing you’ll want to do is to start accessing the broad range of insights that Analytics offers. Analytics dashboards provide a performance overview by displaying summaries of different reports on a single page. Custom reports allow you to customize the dimensions (City and Browser, for example) and metrics (Visits, Page views, and Bounce Rate, for example) in a report to gain insights into your user visits and behavior. To help you get started with your AdSense data in Analytics and show you some relevant information at a glance, we've created this easy-to-use dashboard. Select one of your profiles to import, and you’ll be able to quickly see and customize the reports which matter most to you. You can access this dashboard any time by clicking ‘Dashboards’ under the Reporting tab in your Analytics account. You can also visit the solutions gallery to download ready-to-use custom dashboards and reports that will be most helpful for your site. Alternatively you can create/edit your own dashboards and reports.

Once you've completed these three steps, we also encourage you to opt in to the Account specialist data sharing setting and our customized help and performance suggestion emails in your AdSense email preferences. You’ll be eligible for targeted optimization tips from our marketing and sales specialists.

If you have any questions about the topics covered in this blog post, share them with us by filling out this form. At the end of this series, we’ll record a video with answers to the most frequently asked questions and share it on Google+ on February 26th. See you back here next Wednesday when we’ll take a closer look at how you can optimize your mobile presence with Google Analytics.
